Chandler Amps offers repair, restoration and modification of vintage style tube amps and effects, specializing in most Fender and Marshall circuits. We also work on Vox, Hiwatt, Traynor, Silvertone, Gibson, Ampeg, Supro, etc. Some of the services we offer are as follows:

·        Check and Bias when new output tubes are installed.

·        Cap jobs (replacing old electrolytic caps is recommended every 15-20 years).

·        Installation of new grounded cord (no amp shall be worked on or leave the shop without a properly grounded AC cord).

·        Noise Reduction.

·        Clean Headroom adjustment (do you need your amp to break up earlier or stay clean longer?).

·        Silverface to Blackface conversions for Fender amps.

·        Reverb and Tremolo enhancements.

·        Amp restorations, we can de-mod a hacked classic amp and return it to its former glory.

·        Non invasive tone alterations and enhancements. Do you need your amp to be brighter, darker, more midrange? We will work with you in finding the tone your looking for without hacking the amp or performing irreversible modifications.

·        Blackface/ Silverface Bassman mod includes wiring the circuit card to a AB165/ AA864 hybrid. Another words getting rid of the CBS circuit changes and bringing the amp back to real blackface specs. The normal channel sounds like the rest of the amps of this era, clean and glassy with scooped mids. The bass channel will be modded to give more of a tweed/ marshall tone. I like to add a midrange control to this channel as well as rewiring the deep switch to change the preamp voice from bright and mid heavy to fat.
